Toss the Boss is Vancouver Island's most courageous community fundraiser, where local leaders step up to leap off WildPlay's 150ft bungy bridge in support of brain injury survivors and their families. Since 2021, this incredible community event has seen 166 brave bosses take the plunge, collectively raising over $300 000 for the Nanaimo Brain Injury Society.

Every dollar raised helps the Nanaimo Brain Injury Society provide support, education, advocacy, and community for local brain injury survivors. How Does It Work?

Local and corporate businesses of any kind are invited to form a team and nominate their boss to Bungy Jump from WildPlay’s 150ft Bungy Bridge. Register your team including the boss nominee and any teammates wishing to participate in the fundraiser. Teams must fundraise a minimum of $1000 for the exciting opportunity to watch their boss Bungy Jump in this fun and unique team-building exercise. 

Team Building for a Good Cause

All proceeds raised will go towards supporting, educating, and advocating for adults with acquired brain injuries and their families, as well as increasing community awareness. Your donation will go towards funding the comprehensive set of programs at the Nanaimo Brain Injury Society to continue offering a safe and welcoming space for brain injury survivors - a home away from home.

When is it too late to sign up?!

You can still sign up as long as there are time slots available through the booking link above! An absolute legend in a previous year managed to fundraise over $1,000 the night before the event.

How do I fundraise?

Visit the Toss The Boss fundraising page here. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select the team you wish to contribute to a hit "Donate"!

Will there be photos taken?

There will be a professional photographer on site. You can opt-in to having your photo taken when you complete your waiver.

Where do the funds go?

All funds go towards the and Nanaimo Brain Injury Societies (NBIS). NBIS are registered charities with a mission of supporting, educating and advocating for adults with acquired brain injuries and their families, as well as increasing community awareness about concussion and brain injuries. We provide a comprehensive set of programs, as well as offering peer support and a safe and welcoming space.

What is the cancellation policy?

You can cancel your booking at any time, but donations will not be refunded. Any bookings cancelled with under 24 hours notice will not be eligible for a refund. Reach out to playmore@wildplay.com for assistance with cancellation.
